What is Samsung Smart Heating?
Air Source Heat Pumps use electricity to create heat using a similar system to that of a domestic refrigerator. As the refrigerator cools inside, heat is generated outside. Samsung's EHS Smart Heating system reverses this cycle so the cold is outside and the. The heat energy is then transferred to water and travels through the property. Coupled with low water capacity aluminium radiators, underfloor heating and a thermal store, a heat pump can provide a low cost way of heating your property that also qualifies for RHI payments.
Why Change To Smart Heating?
Samsung's EHS is one of the most energy efficient ways to heat your home, by harnessing natural warmth from outside (even on cold days) the system can create heat up to four times more efficiently than other forms of heating such as gas, oil or electric storage heaters. The process is so efficient that it has been recognised by the UK Government as a way to reduce carbon emissions and rising fuel costs and normally qualifies for RHI payments. The non-domestic RHI is for 20 years, whilst the domestic RHI will pay a lump sum each year for 7 years.

One outdoor unit, which may be backed up by solar panels, heats the water for home use and for the radiators or radiant floor. The system can also be retrofitted to the central heating system to reduce installation costs. It is an innovative option for complete retrofits and for new builds.
